Als Puppenmacherin ist man Abschiede von seinen Puppen ja gewohnt.
Dies ist immer ein wenig bittersüß: einerseits fällt es manchmal schwer, sich von ihnen zu trennen – hat man doch viel Zeit, Sorgfalt und Liebe investiert. Aber natürlich kann ich auch nicht alle Puppen behalten, die ich mache – dann würde ich schon längst in Puppen ertrinken. ;)
Andererseits freut man sich ja auch, weil die Puppe eine liebe Familie bekommt … geliebt und bespielt wird, Abenteuer erleben wird und so hoffentlich ein langes und erfülltes Puppenleben haben kann.
Gleichzeitig gibt es auch diejenigen Puppen, bei denen es trotzdem noch ein wenig schwerer fällt, sie auf die Reise zu schicken und in die weite Welt zu entlassen. “Julie” z.B. ist eine davon…
Wunschpuppe
Das kleine Puppenmädchen hat es mir besonders angetan. So einfach und doch besonders.
Auf eine liebenswerte Art frech und pfiffig, erobert sie die Herzen im Sturm.
Aber die Kleine war ja eine Wunschpuppe, das bedeutet die zukünftige Puppenmama wartet schon auf sie. Also hiess es schließlich, Julie abreisefertig zu machen…
“Nein, Julie – ich weiss zwar, Du hast es besonders eilig zu Deiner neuen Puppenmama zu kommen… aber so nackt und nur in Papier eingewickelt kannst Du doch nicht reisen!
Du brauchst erst noch richtige Kleidung…”
Genau. Ein Unterhöschen gehört natürlich zur Grundgarderobe einer jeden jungen Dame… Jaja.. ;)
Und die Ringelsöckchen dürfen natürlich auch nicht fehlen.
Ein Schal für kühlere Tage kommt natürlich auch noch mit ins Gepäck.
Und ein luftiger Sommerspieler für wärmere Tage darf da auch nicht fehlen.
Hmm… Aber vielleicht solltest Du in einem etwas … festlicheren … hmm… Kleid zu Deiner Puppenmama reisen?! Immerhin ist es ja ihr Geburtstag und zu so einem festlichen Anlass kann man sich schon mal fein machen, oder?
Na, dann komm mal mit, wollen wir Dich mal schick machen….
Ja, das ist schon besser. Und Punkte gehen doch immer.
Außerdem passt das Kleid doch auch gut zu deinen Ringelsocken.
Hmmm. Vielleicht noch ein wenig Haarschmuck?
Oder lenkt das nur vom Wesentlichen ab?….
Ja, ich glaube, so bist Du gut ausgestattet für die Reise in dein neues zu Hause, kleine Julie.
Schnell noch alles einpacken und schon geht es auf die kurze Reise zur zukünftigen Puppenmama…

As a dollmaker one is used to farewells from ones dolls.
This is always a bit of bittersweet: on the one hand, it is sometimes difficult to part – having spent a lot of time, care and love. But, of course, I can not keep all the dolls I make – then I would have already drowned in dolls a long time ago. ;)
On the other hand, I am also happy because the doll will get a loving new home and family … loved and played with, she will experience adventure and hopefully have a long and fulfilling dolls life.
At the same time, there are some dolls, that got a hold on your heart from the start and with whom parting is a little bit harder. It takes some willpower to send them on their journey out into the wide world.
“Julie” e.g. is one of those …
I fell in love with this little doll girl right from the beginning. So simple and yet special.
At the same time cheeky and smart, she conquers hearts in a storm. But the little one was a custom doll, that means the future doll mama was already waiting for her.
So when it was finally time to make Julie ready for departure, I had to say my goodbyes …
“No, Julie – I know you’re in a hurry to get your new doll mummy … but being naked and only wrapped in paper is not the way to travel! You need to put on some clothes first… ”
I agree – Underpants are of course part of the basic wardrobe of every young lady, indeed. ;)
And of course, you can not go without your striped socks.
A woolen scarf for those cooler days has to come along and into the luggage.
And you have to bring along an airy summer romper for those warmer days.
Hmm … But wait! Maybe you should travel in something … more.. festive … hmm … a dress maybe? After all, it is your new doll mamas birthday and on such a festive occasion one should make an effort to dress up, right?
Come along, Julie – I think I might have just the right dress for you…
Yes, that is better. And polka dots are always a good choice, right?
In addition, the dress also matches your socks.
Hmmm. Perhaps a little something for the hair, too? Or will it only take away from the essential?
