Wunschpuppen
Nach längerer Babypause finde ich mich nun so langsam wieder in den Alltag ein. Die Puppenwerkstatt erstrahlt nach einem gründlichen Frühjahrsputz wieder in neuem Glanz.
Und ich kann meine rastlosen Hände endlich wieder kreative Ideen ausführen lassen, habe zudem wieder Energie und Zeit für Wunschpuppen.

Noch ist aber nur wenig Platz für Wunschpuppen in meinem Auftragsbuch, da ich das ein oder andere Projekte erst noch anstoßen oder beenden muss. Trotzdem möchte ich dabei aber jeder Puppe, die ich mache, auch gerecht werden. Daher geht es bis zum Sommer nur auf Anfrage mit Wunschpuppen weiter.
Schon bald aber wird es wieder eine aktuelle Preisliste und mehr Infos zum Bestellen sowie neue Puppen im Shop geben.
Ein paar Eindrücke von einer Wunschpuppe, die sich erst letzte Woche auf die Reisen in ihr neues zu Hause gemacht hat, seht ihr hier:
Ich weiß nicht, was es ist, dass rote Haare an sich haben….
Aber ich mache rothaarige Puppen ja besonders gerne.
Vor allem, wenn sie dann auch noch Sommersprossen haben…
…und eine so einnehmende Persönlichkeit.
Ähmja, aber lest selbst:
Diese ist nämlich ein besonders eigenwilliges (aber dafür umso bezaubernderes) kleines Persönchen.
Obwohl, mit ihren 45 cm ist sie ja auch schon “eine Große”. ;)
Kaum erblickte sie das Licht der Welt in der Puppenwerkstatt, ging es los.
Denn natürlich wollte sie nicht so nackt bleiben, also sollte schnell ein Unterhöschen her.
“Aber mit Schleife und die muss bitte grün sein!” Ja, natürlich. Sie soll sich ja nicht verkühlen.
Hatten wir uns dann auf eine luftige Sommergarderobe geeinigt, ein leichtes Kleidchen – kam schnell noch der Zusatz: “Aber bitte mir Spitze! Und auch passende Socken und Schuhe, ja?!”
… Aber natürlich, recht hat sie. Schuhe und Socken gehören ja dazu.
“Gut. Aber es fehlt noch etwas … etwas … gelbes!”
Hm? Was? Etwas Gelbes?
Aber ok, um des lieben Friedens willen, ist ihr Wunsch mir Befehl:
“Ich brauche aber auch noch Schmuck und eine Spange für die Haare!”
Selbstverständlich. Die passenden Accessoires, die ein Fräulein so braucht, gehören ja dazu.
Schon dachte ich: “Na, das lief doch noch gut.”
Merkte ich schnell, ich hatte mich zu früh gefreut…
Denn kurz vor der Abreise bestand sie dann plötzlich noch auf Frühlingsstiefelchen:
“Immerhin ist es noch nicht Sommer! Sonst bekomme ich noch kalte Füße!”
Recht hat sie da natürlich. Also seufzen und ab an die Nähmaschine.
“Aber ich brauche zu den Stiefeln dann jetzt auch ein passendes Kleid… Und bitte etwas mit Tüll!”
Ah, ok – recht hat sie. Die Stiefel passen ja natürlich auch gar nicht zu dem ersten Kleidchen. ;)
Und wie kann man diesem Augenaufschlag widerstehen?! Nein, ich zumindest kann es nicht.
Ihr Wunsch war mir also wieder Befehl:
“Aber ich brauche auch noch etwas Wärmendes zum Überwerfen, falls meine Puppenmama mich an kühlen Sommerabenden mit nach draußen nimmt…”
Ja, natürlich – recht hat sie. Wer will da schon widersprechen? Also schnell den Wollkorb hervorgeholt und die Stricknadeln geschwungen. Ihr Wunsch war mir Befehl:
“Ja, jetzt ist es gut, … jetzt kann ich abreisen. Meine Puppenmama warte sicher schon auf mich!” sprachs und lehnte sich nun, endlich zufrieden, zurück. Tss…
Ein Glück ist ihre neue Familie geduldig und hat gewartet, bis ich und der kleine rothaarige Wirbelwind hier uns endlich auf die richtige Garderobe für sie geeinigt hatten. ;)
Puh. Keiner hat behauptet, Puppenmacherin sein, sei einfach.
So ausgestattet konnte es dann aber endlich auf die Reise gehen, hinein in ein aufregendes Puppenleben – hoffentlich voller Kinderküsse und neuer Abenteuer…
After a prolonged baby pause, I slowly get back to business and everyday life. Now having done a thorough spring cleaning at the doll studio, all shines like new again.
And I finally can let my restless hands get back to work and let them execute whatever my always spinning creative crazy mind comes up with.
Alas there is only little space for dolls in my order book, because I have a few other projects or I first have to start or end. Nevertheless, I would like to take the proper time for every doll I make. Therefore until summer, I can offer only few custom order spots.
Soon, however there will be a current price list and more information about ordering dolls up again as well as new ready to adopt dolls in the shop.
Until then here are a few impressions from a custom order doll, who went to her new home last week already:
I do not know what it is with these red haired dolls….
but they have a hold on my little heart.
Especially when they have freckles, too …
…And such an occupying personality.
Uhm, yeah, …why don’t you go ahead and read for yourself:
It seems like this one has a very peculiar (but all the more charming) little personality.
Although, with her 17 inch she of course is “a big girl” already. ;)
As soon as she saw the light of the world in my little doll studio, it began …
Of course, she did not want to remain naked. So she quickly demanded some undies: “But with a bow, it has to be green!”
Yes of course. I would not want her to catch a cold.
Then we had agreed on an airy summer wardrobe, a light little dress… but quickly she added: “But I want lace, too… and thus I need socks and nice shoes!?”
Of course, she did. So shoes and socks it is.
“Good. But now there’s still something missing… something… yellow!”
Hm? What?
Excuse me? Something yellow?
Oh well, for the sake of it – her desire is my command:
“But I also need some jewelry …and a clip for my hair!”
Of course. A little lady needs appropriate accessories.
At this point I was all like “Well, that went well.”
But I noticed quickly, that I spoke too soon…
… Shortly before her departure, she was suddenly insisting on boots:
“After all, it’s still chilly… it’s not summer, yet!”
She’s right, of course. So I sigh and go back to the sewing machine.
“But I need a nice dress matching the new boots now, too!”
Oh… ok – she’s right. The boots do not match the first dress at all. ;)
And how can you resist this eyelashes batting gingerhead anyway?! No, at least I can not.
So again, her wish is my command:
“But now I still do need something warm to travel in. What if my mama decides to take me out on an adventure on a chilly summer evening …”
Yes, of course – she did. Who wants to argue with that?
So I quickly browsed the wool stash and then swung the knitting needles. Her wish was my command:
“Yes, now it’s all good… now I can leave, sure enough, my dollmama is already waiting for me!”
And then, leaning back, she was finally satisfied.
Phew. No one has said being a doll maker will be easy.
But after having had a big say in nearly everything, she could not be sweeter now… Dolls, right?!;)
So finally she was ready to journey to a new loving home. Ahead a whole doll’s life – hopefully, full of hugs, kisses, and exciting new adventures…
