Seit ich selbst Puppen fertige, bin ich natürlich sehr interessiert an allem was mit diesem Thema zu tun hat.
Da ist es klar, dass ich mir hier mittlerweile eine kleine thematisch passende “Bibliothek” angelegt habe. Es gibt mittlerweile eine Vielzahl Bücher rund um Puppen (machen). Da wird dies Thema dann mal aus historischer, pädagogischer oder eben auch handwerklich-technischer Sicht beleuchtet.
Heute möchte ich daher eins der Bücher aus meiner Sammlung zum Thema Waldorf Puppen selber machen vorstellen…
Since i´ve been making dolls I am of course always interested in everything around the topic. I have by now a little thematically appropriate “library”. There are a variety books on the subject “dolls” in itself. These book either examine the history of dolls, educational and aspect or touch the subject form a crafty-technical perspective.
Today I would therefore like to introduce one of the books from my collection on the subject of making waldorf dolls …
Buchvorstellung:
“Simple Cloth Daisy Dolls” von Wenche O Steensen
(80 pages, Search Press. 2014, English)
Dies ist eins der Bücher neueren Datums, welches eine bebilderte Anleitung zur Herstellung von Stoffpuppen nach Waldorfart bietet. Das Buch ist in englischer Sprache, jedoch trotzdem leicht verständlich. Es gibt eine klare Gliederung. Jeder Arbeitsschritt wird hier mit einem Foto dokumentiert, so dass auch Anfänger wenig Probleme haben dürften danach eine eigene Puppe zu fertigen.
Besonders hübsch ist auch die Aufmachung und vor allem die schönen Fotos. Außerdem findet man im zweiten Teil des Buches auch Schnittmuster und kurze Anleitungen zur Herstellung für Puppenkleidung. Diese ist sehr basic und lädt damit ein, die Schnitte schließlich selbst zu verfeinern und abzuwandeln.
Insgesamt wirklich ein nettes Buch für alle, die sich selbst mal an die Puppenherstellung wagen wollen…
This is one of the very recent dated books that illustrates instructions for making waldorf dolls. It stands out because of its clear structure. Every step is explained and paired with a photo, so that even beginners should have little problems crafting their own doll.
I like the overall look of this book and above all the nice photos. Moreover in the second part of the book there are also patterns included along with short instructions for making dolls clothes. These are very basic and therefor can easily be modifeyed later on.
Overall, this is really a nice little book for everybody who wants to venture into the world of doll making …
